My Journey

I have always wanted to know how things work underneath. That curiosity started with hardware and networks: at Synergie I worked as a network field specialist, installing and configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Understanding the infrastructure made me want to build what runs on top of it, which led me to Applied Computer Science at Thomas More.

Next to my studies I work remotely for companies in Dubai. At Boticum I designed and built Boticum CRM end to end: a multi-tenant SaaS platform with a Next.js web app, a React Native mobile app, WhatsApp and Instagram integrations, and an automation engine that uses the OpenAI API. I also built more than 10 Python and n8n automations for lead tracking and customer follow-up. At FED Digital Agency I build and support websites and applications for clients as Technical Manager and Full Stack Developer.

Building a production system mostly on my own taught me a lot, and it also showed me what I want to learn next: working in an experienced team with code reviews, testing standards, and shared architecture decisions. That is what I am looking for in my internship, ideally around backend development and AI-powered tools.

How I Work

  • Ownership: I took Boticum CRM from the first architecture document to a live system, and I stay responsible for it after launch.
  • Learning from documentation: most of my integration work, such as Meta webhooks and token handling, meant reading documentation and logs until the problem made sense.
  • Working with clients: I work remotely with clients in Dubai and translate their business needs into features.
  • Teamwork: at school I work in project teams, from analysis and design to a delivered application.

Outside of Code

  • IoT & electronics: soldering and building small IoT projects.
  • Cars: troubleshooting and repairing cars in my free time.
  • Outdoors: hiking and camping to disconnect and recharge.
  • Staying active: regular cycling and fitness.
